Where Real Plans Meet Real People - Respectfully
Welcome to Matesbridge. We're glad you're here.
Our community is built around one core idea: Bringing people together in real life through shared interests and activities. Whether it's a morning hike, an evening gym session, or a spontaneous beach meetup, we want every interaction to be safe, respectful, and genuine.
These guidelines exist to help you navigate Matesbridge the right way. Think of them as our community compass - aligned with our User Agreement and Privacy & Cookie Policy, and rooted in respect, inclusion, and integrity.

What Matesbridge Stands For
At Matesbridge, we believe in Freedom, Authenticity, and Mutual Respect. This is a space where people connect around real experiences - so being yourself, honoring others' boundaries, and communicating with intention is key.
We do not tolerate abuse, harassment, or harmful behavior of any kind. We take these issues seriously and act fast to protect our community.
Core Principles to Follow
1. Lead with Respect
Be kind. Be respectful. We don't allow bullying, threats, or harassment in any form. Everyone deserves to feel safe here - no exceptions.
See something that breaks the rules? Report it to us via: report@matesbridge.com
2. No Objectionable or Harmful Content
Content that is:
- Sexually explicit
- Violent
- Hateful
- Discriminatory
- Abusive
- Targeting individuals based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or identity
- is strictly prohibited.
Any form of exploitation - especially involving minors or encouraging illegal behavior and unsafe meetups - will result in immediate removal and account termination.
3. Be Real
No fake profiles. No impersonations. No deception. Matesbridge thrives on authentic and honest interaction. Represent yourself truthfully and earn the trust of those you meet.
To keep Matesbridge genuine and trustworthy, we require:
- At least one clear photo of your face
- No filters that distort your appearance beyond recognition
- No group photos as the main profile image
- No photos of unclothed minors (even with family)
- No celebrity impersonations or usernames with offensive content.
- Usernames must reflect a version of the name you use in real life - nicknames are fine, but emojis, symbols, and misleading words are not.
4. Respect Privacy and Consent
Don't share other users' personal information.
Don't pressure anyone into sharing theirs.
And always - always - seek clear, mutual consent before taking any action online or offline. Consent isn't optional here - it's essential.
5. Celebrate Everyone
Diversity makes us stronger. Matesbridge welcomes people of every background, identity, and interest.
Discrimination, hate speech, or exclusionary behavior will get you removed. It's that simple.
6. No Scams, No Tricks
Trying to manipulate others for personal gain?
Using fake stories to get money or attention?
Creating setups that lead to fraud?
You'll be permanently banned. We have zero tolerance for deceit.
7. No Spam or Unwanted Content
Don't use Matesbridge to send ads, push promos, or flood others with unsolicited content.
If you're promoting something, get approval first. This is a community space - not a billboard.
8. Put Safety First in the Real World
Matesbridge is all about real-life meetups - but safety always comes first.
Any behavior that's dangerous, illegal, intimidating, or non-consensual is completely unacceptable.
If you act harmfully toward another user outside the app (e.g. at a meetup, in text messages, on social media, or through criminal behavior), Matesbridge reserves the right to take action - just as if it happened on the platform.
We're here to build real trust, not just digital safety. If something happens, notify us and the proper authorities immediately.
9. Protect Yourself and Others
Don't overshare. Avoid posting sensitive details like your home address, bank info, or work location. Be thoughtful about what you put out there - and respect the boundaries of others, too.
10. Reporting Matters
At Matesbridge, we count on every member to help keep our space safe and supportive.
If you ever feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or witness someone violating these guidelines - report it. Your report is always treated with care and confidentiality. By speaking up, you're not just protecting yourself - you're helping protect the entire community.
Together, we can stop harmful behavior and make Matesbridge better for everyone.
Report issues anytime via report@matesbridge.com or through in-app reporting tools (where available).
11. Platform Manipulation
Any attempt to game the system by using scripts, bots, fake accounts, or false engagement is a violation of our trust and will result in bans.
If Rules Are Broken
We reserve the right to take the actions necessary to protect this community. That can include:
- Removing inappropriate content
- Sending warnings
- Temporarily suspending accounts
- Permanently banning users who pose a threat to others
Your help matters: report anything that doesn't align with these standards. We act quickly and with care.
Let's Make It Amazing - Together
Matesbridge is more than an app - it's a way to experience life with others who share your passions. When we follow the same values, we create a space where people can connect, grow, and enjoy new adventures.
Let's make this a platform where:
- You can be your true self
- Others feel safe to meet and connect
- Every activity is built on trust, freedom, and good vibes
We're all in this together. Let's keep it safe, open, and unforgettable.
